A tiny slice of London by the beach, Ye Olde King’s Head transports you to a quaint corner of Britain with its charming tea room—a cozy, dainty space perfect for a leisurely afternoon. My visit was a delightful indulgence in tradition, offering a taste of British elegance right in the heart of Santa Monica, California.

I opted for the Royal Tea, a beautifully arranged selection of vegetarian finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire cream and preserves, and a pot of English Breakfast tea. The experience was made even more special with a glass of champagne, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion. Each bite was a perfect balance of delicate flavors, while the warm scones, paired with the rich, velvety cream, made for an irresistible treat. The tea itself was robust yet smooth, complementing the spread wonderfully.

The setting only enhanced the experience—the tea room’s intimate atmosphere, with its vintage decor and elegant touches, felt like a hidden gem. It was the kind of place where time slows down, letting you savor the moment, one sip at a time. It also provided the perfect backdrop to feature two of my favorite beauty essentials: Clé de Peau Beauté’s Eye Contour Cream and the Iconic Concealer with SPF 27. The refined ambiance and soft, natural lighting made it an ideal setting to celebrate both self-care and timeless elegance.
